Sweet & Sour Cabbage

Ingredients:

 
bullet1 Head Cabbage, shredded
bullet1 Medium Onion, minced
bullet1 Tsp. Caraway Seed
bullet2 Tbs. Butter
bullet3 Tbs. Cider Vinegar
bullet3 Tbs. Sugar
bullet1/2 Cup Water, (Flour & water to create a thicker consistency

Directions:

 

bulletIn a large kettle soften onion in butter.
bulletAdd shredded cabbage & caraway seed.
bulletCover & cook over low heat, mix occasionally until cabbage has softened.
bulletAdd water, vinegar, salt & sugar.
bulletSimmer until tender & flavors are blended. If you prefer a thicker dish, thicken with flour/water paste to desired consistency.
bullet Serve hot.
