Well, having finally gotten this web page back in operational order, I must point out that this is the first opportunity I have had to mention our dinner at Sherry and Dan's house, and that was on March 6. I apologize that we don't have any pictures to commemorate this event, but the hostess was much to busy to also be the official photographer, (a role which she has ably filled).
The dinner was rich in tradition from Hershey, Pa., and the table was covered with delicious Hershey morsels. The theme was Pennsylvania Down Home, and the food and hospitality was excellent. My two favorites were the Chicken Corn Soup and the Chocolate Creme De Menthe Cake. You must check our recipes and menu's if you want to know more of the fine servings which made up this dinner. Many thanks to Sherry and Dan.
This past Saturday, May 21, was held at Beth and Craig's. We apologize that there was such a long time between dinners, but host demands for other activities caused the lag.
Craig selected the menu, but gave no theme. I have taken the liberty of calling this one 'The Bruising Fall Down Dinner". There were some scheduling conflicts as TJ & Bill, and Sue & Mike had other pressing engagements. Fortunately for us, Diane & Ron, (Craig's parents), and Deborah & Bill were able replacements. Al Fresco dining at its best in one of the most wonderful gardens in our Gourmet Club tour.

Our next scheduled dinner is for June 25 at TJ & Bill's, followed by August 13 at Karen & Joe's.
The menus for both of these dinners can be found in the menu section with links to the recipes.
Remember, that the menu page is in a descending date sequence, so TJ & Bill's menu follows Karen & Joe's within this format.
Beyond that, we must develop a new rotation. Let's plan to discuss at the next dinner!
