Sesame Shrimp and Scallops on Skewers

Ingredients:
bullet4 Large Shrimp & 4 Large Scallops
bullet2 Wooden Skewers, soaked in water
bullet1 TBS Soy Sauce
bullet1 Tbs Lemon Juice
bullet1 Tbs Oriental Sesame Oil
bullet1/2 Tsp finely chopped or shredded fresh Ginger
bullet2 Tsp Sesame Seeds

Prepares 2 servings

Preparation time: 25minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes

Bake time: 5 minutes

Directions:
bulletPrepare the grill or heat the oven broiler.  If cooking under broiler, lightly spray a baking sheet with vegetable cooking spray.
bulletPeel the shrimp, leaving the tails on if possible.
bulletThread the shrimp and scallops onto the skewer, alternating them.
bulletIn a small bowl, stir together the soy sauce, lemon juice, oil and ginger.
bulletBrush the mixture over the skewered shrimp and scallops, coating both sides.
bulletSprinkle evenly with the sesame seeds.
bulletGrill or broil the skewers 4 to 5 inches from the heat until the shellfish just barely turn white and firm up. (About 3-4 minutes per side).  Serve hot.
