Miniature Sausage Puffs

Ingredients:
bullet1/2 Lb. bulk pork sausage
bullet1 (6 Oz) package Biscuit mix
bullet1/2 tsp dry mustard
bullet1/4 Tsp ground red pepper
bullet1/2 Cup of milk
bullet1/2 Cup (2 Oz) shredded Cheddar cheese

 

 

Prepares 2 1/2 dozen

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Cook time: 20 minutes

Directions:
bulletCook sausage in skillet over medium heat until sausage is browned, stirring to crumble.  Drain well.
bulletCombine biscuit mix, dry mustard, ground red pepper; then add milk, stirring just until moistened.
bulletStir in sausage and cheese.  (Mixture will be thick).
bulletSpoon into greased miniature muffin pans, filling 2/3rds full.
bulletBake at 400 degrees for 12-14 minutes, until golden.
bulletImmediately remove from pans.  Serve warm.
