Ingredients:
 | 1 Lb ground beef & ground pork mixed |
 | 1/2 cup of dry bread crumbs |
 | 1/2 cup milk |
 | 1 small onion, (finely chopped) |
 | 2 Tbs butter |
 | 1 large egg |
 | 1 Tsp grated lemon rind |
 | Salt & pepper to taste |
Sauce:
 | 1 Cup beef stock |
 | 2 Tbs lemon juice |
 | 3 Finely chopped anchovies |
 | 1 Tsp capers |
 | 2 Tbs flour, (mixed with 1/2 cup of water) |

Directions:
Meatballs:
 | Soak the breadcrumbs in milk for 10 minutes, and
saute the onions in 1 Tbs of butter until transparent. |
 | Mix together all ingredients in a bowl and work
until well blended. |
 | Shape into 1" meatballs. |
 | Brown slightly in butter, shaking the pan to keep
the meatballs round and evenly brown. |
Sauce:
 | Mix together stock, lemon juice, chopped anchovies
and capers and bring to a boil. |
 | Add flour and water and cook until thickened, (about
5 minutes). |
 | Pour over meatballs and simmer together for 10
minutes. |
