Haricots Verts l'Oignon

Ingredients:

 
bullet1 Lb Green Beans
bullet1 Oz Butter
bullet1 Medium Onion
bulletSalt & Pepper to taste

Prepares 6 servings

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 8-10 Minutes

Directions:

 

bulletTop and tail the beans.  (Recommend the tiny French green beans).
bulletCook the beans whole in boiling slated water for about 8-10 minutes.
bulletFinely chop the onion.
bulletMelt the butter and fry the finely chopped onion until lightly brown.
bulletDrain the beans and toss them over heat to dry.  Pour the butter and onions over the beans and season with salt and pepper.
