Asparagus Au Gratin

Ingredients:
bullet2 Bunches fresh Asparagus
bullet1/2 Lemon
bullet2 Cups Cheese Sauce, heated.
bullet1/2 Cup grated Gruyere Cheese
bulletSalt, Pepper & Paprika to taste.

Prepares:  Unstated

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Cook time: 30 minutes

 

Directions:
bulletClean and prepare asparagus as required.
bulletPlace in saucepan with salted, boiling water.
bulletDrop in lemon and cook 12 to 18 minutes. 
bulletDo not overcook.  stalks should be tender, not soft.
bulletPre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
bulletDrain asparagus well and cut in half.
bulletPlace in buttered baking dish and cover with cheese sauce.
bulletTop with grated gruyere cheese.
bulletBrown in oven 12 minutes.
